Day 2: Orientation

Today begins with an informative presentation that will brief you on all you need to know about your 2 week honeymoon experience as well as a briefing on how to get around the local area. The afternoon walking tour of a local village will help you learn more about Swazi culture and life, finishing with a traditional Swazi meal.

Day 3 – Day 7: Kruger National Park, South Africa

You will venture on a five day tour into the heart of Kruger Park including 4 nights camping in the park and unlimited game drives exploring the vast wilderness with the expert guidance of one of our wildlife guides. Previous tours have had great sightings of lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard, wild dog and a variety of other of Kruger’s specialties. Your trip also includes a guided bush walk to experience the fauna and flora of Kruger close at hand and some of its smaller inhabitants! Optional activities include a night drive where you’ll go in search of nocturnal wildlife, before camping in gated enclosures sleeping amongst the sounds of the wild.

On Day 7 you will depart Kruger for the beautiful Kingdom of Swaziland.

Day 8 – Day 12: Building Volunteer Work, Swaziland
As a volunteer you will spend five days working on our building project helping with hands on development and building work.

Day 13 – Day 14: Experience Swaziland
The last 2 days of the tour you will take part in the Malolotja canopy tour. This tour begins in Ezulwini and passes the capital Mbabane before descending into Pine Valley where you’ll have a chance to see Sibebe Rock which is the second largest exposed rock in the world.  From there the tour takes a gravel road deep into the rural hills before a gentle meander down the famous Komati Valley where you’ll have a quick tour of Maguga Dam. You’ll then head west for the impressive mountain ranges of Malolotja Nature Reserve which is one of Swaziland’s true wilderness areas. The reserve offers good game viewing and incredible views into breathtaking mountain scenery.

In Malolotja you’ll be accommodated in comfortable wooden bungalows and you’ll be served a delicious traditional Swazi braai for dinner. The following morning it’s time for Zip-lining! Zip-lining offers an incredibly unique and exciting way of exploring places you’d usually never see like the tops of tall trees, cliff edges and hidden gorges. On the way back to Ezulwini you will stop at the Ngwenya Glass Factory for a chance to purchase some memento’s from your honeymoon. The factory provides much needed employment within Swaziland and produces its products through recycling of glass.

Day 15: Return Home
Sadly all great adventures must come to an end and on your final day you will leave the lodge in Swaziland and will fly out of OR Tambo International Airport.
